Dr. Degado was my gynecologist for over 15 years. Although I dislike heights, I followed her from the first floor to the 9th floor, 7th floor, etc of different locations to keep her as my doctor. She performed my endometrial ablation which solved my anemia and ceased my periods(one of the best decisions of my life). I was surprised and saddened to learn she had passed from Covid.

She was not only my physician, she was a friend, a co-worker, a devoted mother figure for me and an avid supporter of so many things. She once talked to me about retiring and said that she couldn’t. Each day another woman that she admired became her patient and she felt like she couldn’t leave them. She is what a physician should be, a fighter for your health, your well-being and a person you could go to far anything. She will be missed by so many, it is a great loss to the medical community. May she rest in peace knowing there are those of us out here fighting the good fight.

I am terribly sorry to hear of Dr. Delgado’s passing. I had prolonged making my annual appointment and was logging in to do so, shocked to learn of her passing. She was a wonderful doctor, and always managed to make me feel comfortable and at ease. She was the first doctor to help me with situations that other doctors summarily dismissed. Thank you, Dr. Delgado.

I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Delgado in person, but have appreciated her care of our mutual patients over the years. The news of her passing from one of my patients caused me to pause and reflect on how we, as healthcare professionals, take each other for granted. My heart grieves for Dr. Delgado, her family, and her patients. May she rest in peace. With love and deepest condolences.

I have been a patient of Dr. Delgado since I was 17. She was such an amazing doctor. She guided me through several surgeries and fertility issues. She delivered both my boys, being there for us in our happiest times always asking to see pictures and asking how the boys are. She was also there for me in the hardest times, providing guidance, care, support, and genuine love during the loss of our 3rd baby. I am truly saddened by the news of her loss and will always miss her. Thank you Dr. Delgado, for the amazing doctor and person you were, you are missed dearly.

I will miss Dr Delgado she has been my GYN for over 25 years and I looked forward to our conversations every year. Due to Covid I kept rescheduling my appointments and I am sorry I didn’t have one last good bye. God Bless You Until We Meet Again.

I just learned about the home going of Dr. Delgado and am deeply saddened. I am a former patient. What a beautiful person and awesome doctor. I first met her in 2010 after moving to Texas from Washington. After recently arriving in the San Antonio area, I found myself in need of Gynecological medical treatments. Being new there, I did not know any doctors. However, as a believer in prayer, I prayed. My young daughter told me to call the hospital out there and ask for a referral and I did and was referred to Dr. Delgado. At the time, I had no job and no medical insurance. However, that did not prevent her from helping me. Having assessed my medical condition, she recommended that I have the surgery immediately. She said that she would speak with the hospital and her medical team. She did, and it was done. With an affordable deposit from me to the hospital, the balance of the medical costs was arranged so that I could repay it over time.
I thank God for the Angel that he sent into my life, Dr. Delgado in 2010. For not only did she help me, but she became the OBGYN for my daughter and some of her friends. Many blessings to Dr. Delgado’s family.

Dr. Delgado was a wonderful obgyn! She was very fast, and kind! Always made me feel amazing about being pregnant, & always listened to my needs! I’m expecting again and was so glad to have her again until I saw on here the bad news, wish her patients were notified. Will miss her dearly!
